The purpose of Rita’s Hope is restoring humanity. The definition of humanity is as follows; the quality or state of being human, the quality or state of being kind to other people or animals, all people. Rita’s Hope was established on March 5, 2015.
Rita’s Hope assists Fort Worth’s homeless population by providing emergency relief services, including, food, water, light, heat, temporary shelter, and assistance with housing placements. Additional services include, case management, transportation, on site doctor visits, mentoring, employment preparation and placement, budget management and assistance applying for social services and social security programs.
Rita’s Hope builds comprehensive community partnerships with a diverse group of stakeholders, including other service providers, outreach ministries, city and government officials and agencies to create personalized out of the box sustainable solutions for individuals experiencing homelessness.
